about danielle
loudoun county birth doula
Danielle entered the field of birth work with a passion for contributing to positive experiences and improved statistics surrounding pregnancy and childbirth. With a focus on promoting perinatal mental health, health at every size, and autonomy and equity in maternal healthcare, Danielle is committed to ensuring that all families have access to the support they need. Through her work, she aims to help families build confidence as they navigate the transformative journey that comes with each new addition to their family.
As a certified Yoga Teacher, Danielle takes joy in assisting clients in discovering comfort and space within their bodies through gentle movement and relaxation techniques. She places a high value on community gatherings and recognizes the need for a supportive environment where moms, parents, and families can come together to share their collective experiences.
Raised in Western Loudoun, Danielle developed a profound appreciation for the Appalachian mountains. Despite being a planner and a busy-minded individual, she strives to stay grounded and present in her everyday life. Danielle finds liberation and joy in moving her body through various activities such as dance, jogging, walking, yoga, and time outdoors in the fresh air. When seeking adventure, Danielle enjoys hiking, exploring Appalachia, discovering great beers, and savoring mountain views. For moments of rest, she indulges in homemade brownies or popcorn, a lighthearted Netflix series, an epsom salt bath (perhaps with some LUSH bath bombs), and an early bedtime.
Danielle is a mother of two babes, born in 2021 and 2024. Currently residing in Hillsboro, VA, she continues to bring her passion and a holistic approach to birth work in order to support families in Loudoun County and the surrounding areas in their unique journeys.
